Fair and Transparent Rates
Before I quote a price, we will have a detailed discussion about your project. I will ask many questions; about style, length, audience, script, brand, dates & deadlines.
By the hour
A direct and simple method. For assembly type projects or simpler edits, I simply estimate the hours for your project and give you an hour count for completion. Hours are tracked and kept within the guidelines you and I will establish. Extra time is approved by you.
flat or contract rate
I use this method for larger projects, corporate projects, and series, like podcasts and repeating formats like weeklies or serials. I will estimate the hours and the parts of your project and give you a flat rate for each video. That way you know in advance what your podcast or serial will cost week to week or month to month.
by script
I generally budget a documentary or short film using the script. We will discuss the project and what you want me to do: off-line, on-line, and how much finish you want me to do, (music, graphics, CGI, Foley, etc.). We agree on a cost per page and that becomes the estimate. Any other services are estimated separately and added. You will receive a line-item budget for this type of project.
Included in every project: Two rounds of review, color correction, music selection from licensed libraries, voice enhancement, final mix, and delivery in your preferred format.
Additional costs: Basic expenses, such as hard drives, postage, stock licenses that may be needed, graphic design, Foley, VO recording, and subtitles.
Note: All estimates are honored for 90 days. Basic expenses (e.g. hard drives, stock licenses) will be billed separately. You'll always know the costs up front — no hidden fees. Your project timeline is secured in the schedule once confirmed.
